WHAT TO WEAR?
The dress code varies from company to company. As an Access Staffing employee you will be expected to dress in accordance with the company’s dress code. At the time you are given an assignment you will be instructed as to the client company’s specific attire requirements. If no instructions are available, wear conservative business attire on your first day of work.

WHAT HOURS WILL YOU WORK?
When you receive an assignment, you will be told which hours the specific company or department works. Punctuality is extremely important. If, for any reason, you are unable to be on time for your assignment, it is critical that you contact your supervisor directly to make them aware of your situation. Also notify a representative of Access Staffing so we can assist the situation as needed.

DOES A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT EVER RESULT IN A REGULAR HIRE?

Absolutely! It is quite common for a temporary assignment to result in a regular hire. Each company that you are assigned to should be viewed as a potential employer. Often a temporary employee is offered regular employment by one of our clients in an entirely different capacity than the temporary position to which they were assigned. If you are interested in a regular position with a company that Access Staffing has referred you to, let an Access representative know that you are interested. Never approach the company yourself. Your friendly, enthusiastic and courteous behavior will make you a welcome and very necessary member of that company’s team!

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU NEED TO INTERVIEW WHILE ON A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT?
Most companies will understand how important an interview is to you. But, it’s important to understand that the reason you are there is because the company really needs someone in your position. Schedule your interview before work, after work or on your lunch hour. Let your supervisor know that you have an interview and be certain that you communicate that you’ll try to be back on time. If however, the interview takes slightly longer than anticipated you’ll return as quickly as possible.
